Program Overview
Hyde Park Weekday School is a weekday ministry of Hyde Park Baptist Church. It is a non-profit program organized as a service to the community. Its purpose is to provide a learning experience suited to the development of each child and to stimulate their growth socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually. It also provides “child-free” time for parents each week. The program is administered by the Preschool Director and the Hyde Park Weekday School Committee of Hyde Park Baptist Church. The HPWS Advisory Committee establishes the operating procedures and policies for staffing and other business as needed for the program. It is their duty to maintain a staff of qualified teachers and director.
Our Mission
Hyde Park Weekday School exists to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment based on biblical principles to enable preschool age children to reach their full potential and be prepared for elementary school. We desire to disciple our staff, families, and students to equip them with the knowledge of Christ so they can grow in their relationship with Him. While we are preparing our preschoolers for elementary school, we ultimately are connecting them to Christ through Biblical education that will prepare them to spend eternity with Him.
