Curriculum

General Program Information

Hyde Park Weekday School seeks to nurture growth and learning through organized activities, social community, and play. The curriculum is organized into monthly and weekly themes. Each month classes focus on specific letters, a number, a shape, a color, and a scripture memory verse. Each class follows the same theme and focus, while integrating learning experiences based on age and developmentally appropriate methods and activities. Each classroom has an appropriate ratio of children to adults. Below is the maximum ratio for each class.

2-year-olds- 6:1, 10-12 children max

3-year-olds- 7:1, 12-14 children max

4-year-olds- 8:1, 14-16 children max

Our program also highlights God’s love and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our staff members are encouraged to provide opportunities for children to experience God’s love as they display Christian values. Children will be exposed to Bible stories, Bible characters, Bible verses, and Christian holidays.
